FACQ Center Merelbeke

The longest mesh facade in the world? The new FACQ building impresses with a 300 m long wire mesh facade from Haver & Boecker.   The Belgian family company FACQ has been a specialist in bathrooms, heating and renewable energies since 1880. As a wholesaler, the company addresses both installers and private customers.   LAB Architects Boveroux Courtoy designed the new FACQ building in Merelbeke. With an almost 300-metre-long mesh façade cladding, it is a real eye-catcher on the E40 highway. Christie's Art Warehouse

GKD provides suitable building shell with architectural metal mesh. Christie's auction house operates a storage facility for art and exclusive objects such as jewelry and wine at the Singapore Free Port. The entire building is clad in Omega 1520 architectural mesh, the weft wires of which are coated in a dark golden color. To ensure that the outer shell of the warehouse is in keeping with the valuable goods stored inside, the architects from 3BM3 in Geneva clad the building using 211 mesh elements with a total area of 4,600 m². The ends of the mesh were curved to create loops, which were then used to attach the material. More

Pointe à Pitre Palace of Justice

Traditionally large and thick as if to express force and power, the walls of the Courthouse in Pointe-à-Pitre evoke openness and transparency. In this way, the building challenges the ice-cold popular image of courts with an apparent warmth, an immediate readability of its forms, and a liberation from the authoritarian codes of judicial architecture.   Built in continuity with the urban fabric and the principal alignments of the city, the Courthouse adapts to its relationship with other buildings in Pointe-à-Pitre. Library Ourense

Sun protection facade with Architectural MeshTo protect the interior against excessive sunshine and overheating, the large windows of the library in the Spanish Ourense are covered with HAVER Architectural Mesh.For the sun protection screen the architect Jose Manuel Casabella Lopez chose the cable mesh MULTI-BARRETTE 8301. With its open area of 66 % it acts like an elegant transparent cladding.A special feature of the façade cladding are the diagonal wire mesh elements, which are to the façade. Royal Ascot Hotel Apartment

The Royal Ascot Aparthotel, built in 2008 and located in the heart of Dubai, combines an ancient architectural style with modern facilities including wooden and marble floors, glazed balconies and elegant furniture.To decorate the interior facade, the designer Sven Müller devised a fixed mural that covered one of the walls from top to bottom. He did it by means of the versatile and durable anodized aluminium links, an architectural solution of Kriskadecor in silver and lime. This way, in addition to providing light and colour to the hotel complex, guests enjoy a striking view when climbing their respective rooms with panoramic elevators.Design by Sven Müller More
