A simple contemporary design for a small wine bar-shop with the concept of enhancing wine culture through tastings of a regularly updated selection of wines by the glass from around the world in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The bar is located in the courtyard of one of Belgrade's bustling central streets. It originally featured a mezzanine, a glass staircase, and a column that the owners, a sommelier with extensive wine expertise and his wife, wished to integrate into the new interior. We aimed to preserve and highlight the coziness and privacy of this space.

Located in the Delfshaven neighbourhood of Rotterdam, Loft Office, designed by JVST, is a conversion of a former steam-cleaning factory into an inviting studio space for the architectural firm.

With an objective of retaining the original scale, transparency and airiness, the project comprises a slightly raised walkway that runs along the space to organize and redirect the flow of people, a coffee corner that links the workspace with a meeting room, a mezzanine with plants and a pantry, and a central glass meeting room.

In Qinhuangdao, China, the Monologue Art Museum by Wutopia Lab opened on the park green of SEATOPIA in July 2022. The Museum is dedicated to those who, as the architects say, want to 'be free from worldly distractions.'

Porto house by WeStudio demonstrates the spatial potential of the ‘L-shaped’ courtyard
Located in the centre of Porto, this house in Rua Direita de Francos responds to its urban context with an ‘L shaped’ configuration around an internal garden.

Designed by WeStudio, the one level home on a 341 m2 plot features a clear organization with bedrooms facing east and living spaces facing south. Above this clearly defined arrangement, a gable roof allows for informal and flexible mezzanines at a higher level that can be used for study or play. The well thought out organization of spaces, and their dimensions, come from numerous conversations between architects and clients.
