Casa 01 explores the relationship between architecture, craftsmanship, and the experience of living.The design unfolds beneath a series of vaulted ceilings, which shape the atmosphere of each room while connecting them into a single continuum. In the heart of Trieste, within an early twentieth-century building, the project transforms an apartment whose original layout remains legible, reinterpreting its logic to accommodate contemporary living. Phase One: New floor plan For this charming apartment in Psychiko, Athens I was asked to redesign the living room while maintaining the existing floor plan as much as possible. The original layout featured a separate entrance hall and a kitchen connected through a hallway that led to the private quarters.
