With the analysis of cultural and social layers, we extract a lot of notions.First symbol is the definition of the Senegal word, which is interpreted in wolof language “ our boat”, and it provides metaphors such as unity, parallelism and floating. The second symbol is baobab tree. the tree of life, symbolizing the hope and the six nations that make up the Casamance region. The third was the character of the Grivoet, a cultural symbol. A person who predominantly narrated the history of Africa by means of musical instruments. Northline Town Square
Central parks have long been recognized for their fundamental role in the life of a city, by providing a place of reprieve from the density and bustle of the urban fabric. People gather there for recreation and relief, socialization and play. Parks are places that accept the seemingly chaotic nature of the city’s pulse. Northline Town Square will be that for Leander, Texas. It’s at the center of the new Northline development, set to be the future downtown of Leander as it grows into a more metropolitan destination. THE PAVILION
What matters is that it's a space where reading can take place.
The Pavillion has been designed as a modern-day folly, is constructed of timber and glass and is located on the grounds of an existing detached villa in the Algarve.
The concept was to create a small private retreat close to the existing house with views across open countryside towards the sea beyond.
The new structure is sited in a wonderfully mature setting but also in a part of the garden that was rarely used.
Subtle changes are projected onto the timber slatted façade throughout the day created by the movement of the sun and the shadows from the foliage of the surrounding trees.
