Ramisera Wilds is a 5000 sq.ft boutique resort project with 3 cottages and 2 existing huts in Ramisera, Uttarakhand, in the Kalagarh Tiger Reserve forest area. The river Palain flows along the site and the sound of water echoes through the resort.  Our response to such eco-sensitive site was a structure with minimum on-site interference and ecofriendly passive design principles. We designed a resort with a focus on the natural beauty and surroundings and an experiential stay to observe wild life. We kept in mind the process of construction with the intention of minimal disturbance of the land and reduced time line of construction on-site so as to not disturb the wild life movement in the surrounding areas.   Caption The stru...
