ObjectiveThe action aims to recover the old doctor's home and sanatorium, to turn it into a municipal social center.The entire functional program is organized taking advantage of the envelope and the configuration of the existing building, having on the ground floor, in addition to the entrance hall, a media library, a workshop for rural women, toilets, and a communications center. MOLA rug
MOLA is the Latin word for stone and the rug appears as a visual presentation of just that. The “stones” of MOLA are designed in perfect harmony and symbolizes the milestones in our lives. The different levels, materials and structures of the rug are a manifestation of significant moments that we experience and from which we evolve. The meaning of stone is furthermore a reference to natural surroundings, where the materials found in each “stone” of MOLA rug, embodies the diversity of Mother Nature. More
