LightBOX at Winn Park takes the concept of the traditional town square and transforms it into the idea of the neighborhood squares, where everyday activities can create a new hub for social life. Each square gives a variety of program to the neighborhood and can act as the neighborhood ‘living room’ where movies, plays, weddings, farmers markets, art events, festivals, and holiday events can play out. The once underutilized fire alarm service building at the center of the park is revitalized into a public amenity with a beacon placed over it to act as the focal point for these neighborhood activities.
