The Park
The Park The project redefines the role of contemporary public space by creating a new destination that combines landscape, water, sport, and collective experience within a single, coherent environment. Located in the southern part of Kraków, the proposal transforms a fragmented and underutilized area into a large-scale district sports and recreation center with a strong public character and regional reach. Rather than designing a traditional park or a standalone sports complex, the project establishes a layered spatial system that integrates everyday use with event-driven intensity.

Johnson's Corner
Once a humble roadside beacon for weary travelers along Colorado’s expanding highway system, Johnson’s Station was more than just a place to fill up. It was a gathering space, a community landmark, and a symbol of hospitality on the open road. Over the decades, however, time took its toll. The once vibrant neon-lit facade faded, the pumps ran dry, and the structure fell into a state of disrepair, until now.
Johnson’s Hospitality LLC
Through a thoughtful and deeply respectful renovation, Johnson’s Station has been reborn. Situated in the heart of Prospect New Town, Longmont’s visionary walkable neighborhood, the newly restored Johnson’s Station honors its past while energizing the future of communal... More

Smokehouse
Smokehouse is a communal dining pavilion nestled within a shaded grove, conceived as an open-air shelter for meals, gatherings, and community meetings. Adjacent to an outdoor kitchen, the structure offers protection from the elements while remaining open and connected to its surroundings.
Designed and built as a community project, the pavilion employs modest materials and simple construction methods. A straightforward A-frame wood structure, clad in cedar shake, rests on a concrete foundation that forms two continuous sunken benches flanking a long communal table. The open-ended form invites movement through the space, while framing views of the grove beyond.

Multi-purpose Huys features a sculptural chimney along with a modern interpretation of Belgium moat farm typology
In Eeklo, Belgium, ‘Huysmanhoeve’ or Huys offers an open and flexible multi-purpose gathering place. Based on the typical typology of the moat farm, the project comprises four buildings in total, with two renovated barns and two new structures.

ZOOM Architecten aimed to preserve the layered nature of the existing barn by restoring its wooden truss structure and outer shell. Additionally, two new interventions were added in contrast with the existing architecture. The first is a glass façade dividing the interior into two sections – a covered outside space and a conditioned indoor space. The second intervention is a new chimney, the design and materialization of which differs from the ex... More
