Let the Space Breathe
1. Background & Philosophical Proposition
"Let the Space Breathe" is not merely a building, but an architectural proposition—an exploration of an alternative to the emphasis on permanence, control, and fixed enclosure that has shaped much of modern architecture over the past century. While conventional design often imposes structural logic onto people and environments through steel and glass, this research demonstrates that space can instead be responsive and organically transient. Designed as a grand-scale nomadic structure (50m H / 40m W), the project treats any ground as its origin. It takes temporary material form without being bound to a fixed address, leaving the site fundamentally changed upon its disassembly.

Mycelium Maison
Nestled in the capitol forest of Washington, the design draws its inspiration from the intertwining threads of mycelium. Mycelium is a long thread like mushroom roots, which typically grow in a humid and shaded area. These extremely thin white threads grow in all directions forming a strong web. The strong network of these mycelium filaments acts like an anchor for the mushroom.

ecoLogicStudio, the pioneering biodesign firm founded in London by Prof. Claudia Pasquero and Dr. Marco Poletto, with its academic partners at Innsbruck University and the Bartlett UCL, presents DeepForest³, a visionary installation for the ‘"We the Bacteria. Notes Toward Biotic Architecture"’ exhibition curated by Beatriz Colomina and Mark Wigley as part of the 24th International Exposition of La Triennale di Milano, which this year is focused on ‘Inequalities' under the presidency of Stefano Boeri. The installation will be open to the public from the 12 of May 2025.

Homegrown is a unique garden pavilion created for the New York Botanical Gardens' "Wonderland: Curious Nature" exhibition, which explores the fantastical world of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This installation will be on display from May 18 to October 27, 2024.

In a new experimental group exhibition at Copenhagen Contemporary, the Danish capital’s international art center, Reset Materials — Towards Sustainable Architecture presents the building materials of tomorrow. At the intersection of art and architecture, the exhibition explores the future of architecture through ten innovative works and offers a critical comment on the way we build today. Reset Materials is the result of a unique collaboration between Copenhagen Contemporary and the Danish Association of Architects.
