Zomorrod 11: Bricks on The Move
A stack of four cubes, Zomorrod 11 stands firmly at the heart of a traffic junction in Tehran. The design has incorporated the use of geometric brick pattern modules following a strategy by which the exterior façade of the building stretches inside and forms many elements of the interior; from the lowest parking level at -5 through to the top.

The one-way street it overlooks on the south elevation connects two of Tehran's main north-south arteries, therefore the nature of the site's impact on the passer-by is affected by speed and haste. Atrin Office
When ATRIN asked us to redesign their office, the idea was to create a blank canvas and start from scratch. All the walls were torn down so that the space could be maximized with transparency continuity and a flood of daylight to provide better working ambience. From the furniture pieces to the artworks, everything was designed and made. Towards the end of the project, over casual tea with our client, we learnt about a large collection of colorful vintage clocks they owned. We proposed to display the collection as a wall of clocks both as a centerpiece for the office, and a means of dividing the main space into foyer and workspace without completely blocking them from one another.

House for a City, Once for a family
The House of Ettehadieh, is a series of buildings and courtyards that came to life approximately 150 years ago. It is an architectural/urban manifestation and reflection of a chapter of ancient Tehran and its dwellers; A true example of time-space architectural poetry.

THE FORUM | A Multipurpose Hall
Sat within an old site with buildings aging up to 150 years, this modest multipurpose hall is located at the heart of the old Part of Tehran, in Laleh-Zar, once upon a time the Champs-Élysées of a Tehran. With a double height, the hall at its lowest level occupies the basement and at its highest the ground floor of an old carriage house. It takes up an area of approximately 110 square meters. The sheer contrast of an immaculate and engaging modern space with the old context and fabric of the site draws the audience to an uncanny sense of belonging and calmness.
