Semi Opened House

The idea of the project was to create still harsh unchangeable monolith, referring to rocks scattered in the region, which is constantly being complemented by the surrounding nature.  Semi Opened House is closed from the front and opens to the private forest. The roof is a green terrace, from which you can admire tree tops. The building frames greenery and surroundings so that the dream images can be viewed from every perspective. The pictures around the house change in the rhythm of seasons and weather. The 1125 Joaquim building, designed by Perkins&Will São Paulo, is a sophisticated and innovative residential proposal in a privileged location in Itaim Bibi, just three blocks from Brazil's main financial center. The 25-floors project features striking integration with the urban landscape, using simple shapes, neutral colors and natural elements, such as wood and vegetation, to create an elegant and timeless look.
