As one of the last prominent locations on Long Island, this new five-story glass and metal office space had to make a statement! The design philosophy was to create a unique building for a unique site without compromising the functionality. Due to its extreme exposure to two major arteries (with different traffic speeds) scrupulous attention has been devoted to define different levels of visual perception, from a panoramic to a close view. The distinct shape, with a big vertical sweeping floating curve, identifies the building when approached from the LIE. Old Westbury is known for their estates and more traditional homes. This new modern house will be a very interesting addition to the area and support the theory that creative and expertly executed modern architecture can stand on its own anywhere. This house breaks ground this Fall. More

The new CNB Corporate offices in Melville, New York, reflect the new image of banking today. Efficient, modern and most importantly, customer-oriented, the design results had to accomplish these tasks and more in this 8,200 SF facility. Although the reception area has a very corporate feeling, the conference center and corridor in view of the reception area to the back workspaces is very modern and creative, toning down the corporate entrance. We opened up all the conference rooms to this corridor so customers and employees were always part of the ongoing activities doing away with the image of closed-door banking. More
