Overhang

The two vertically offset volumes with gable roofs are precisely set into the steeply sloping terrain and connected by a canopy and a covered seating area under the cantilevered garage. The main building stands at right angles to the slope and in turn cantilevers over the base in which the bedrooms are located. Since this runs lengthwise to the slope, a flat area is created above it, which is used as a terrace with a pool. The generously dimensioned structural openings and cantilevers reinforce the sculptural expression of the ensemble.
