Design NarrativeJD House sits in F-7, one of Islamabad's established residential sectors, where a crisp, travertine-clad villa already stood out against its neighbors before the landscape was designed. Rather than compete with the architecture, Israr & Associates Landscape Architecture Practice (IALA) built the outdoor spaces around it, using the boundary wall, driveway, and garden as a frame that lets the house's material language carry through into the site.
