Along 600 meters of Avenida Presidente Kennedy, Parque Municipal Edson Arantes do Nascimento – Rei Pelé reshapes one of the main urban corridors of São Caetano do Sul. " Amidst the pandemic, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration opened its remarkable public space, the Chao Phraya Sky Park (CPSP). Left abandoned for almost 40 years, the halted infrastructure project has now been given a second life as the newest Bangkok landmark, the nation's first pedestrian bridge park across a river. Known as Austin’s first park, this 84-acre public green space has a rich history spanning from ancestral native civilizations to the city’s founding mothers and fathers; its popularity endures with Austinites today. Built for the State of CA Department of Parks and Recreation, The Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a 57-acre urban state park located 500 feet above the heart of Los Angeles. The project includes a 10,000 SF Visitor’s Center, an observation deck and viewing areas, hiking trails, picnic areas and restoration of the natural landscape.    The turbulent history of the Baldwin Hills site, from oil wells to plans for massive residential development, stripped this mountain of most of its natural past. The challenge was to design structures that feel integrated into their setting and enhance the experience of being in the natural landscape. ATELIER THOMAS PUCHER has won the international competition for Salzburg Regional Hospital in Austria. With a gross floor area of 89 000 m² the new Salzburg Regional Hospital will be an oasis of recovery in the city, blending perfectly functionality with flexibility. The design combines a “double-comb” structure that accommodates treatment and examination rooms with a cross-shaped area dedicated for the ward and nursery departments. This distribution is completed by a final slab that host the laboratory and that integrates seamlessly the whole building.
