Pontoise swimming pool

Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, in Paris’s 5th arrondissement, the Pontoise Swimming Pool stands as a remarkable example of 1930s Art Deco architecture. Designed by Lucien Pollet and completed in 1932, it is part of a series of Parisian swimming pools developed according to a common design, alongside the Molitor Swimming Pool, among others. Listed on the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1998, it stands out for the richness of its decor and the quality of its spatial layout. Clair Joie Residence

The current Clair Joie young workers' residence is now outdated. The renovation program includes a complete restructuring of the accommodations, with the repurposing of the space previously used as a cafeteria. All three buildings that make up the residence are being entirely redesigned, both architecturally and technically. Taking advantage of this renovation project, the buildings will also be upgraded from an environmental perspective. This building from the early 20th century is a structuring element of the Gobelins district and is distingued by its height, its concrete structure and its classic brick façade. As building has undergone multiple technical additions, its heritage and architectural quality has faded.
