The Dip Pavilion is conceived as an elemental architectural intervention within an existing residential landscape. CHOU-NO-HANE is a meditation pavilion nestled in the greenery of Jacques Wirtz's ambitious landscape project for a private residence on Lake Leman, in Gland. The name comes from an ancient Japanese word meaning butterfly wings. Gucci | Bamboo Encounters is a tribute to bamboo – an evergreen plant that seamlessly blends strength with lightness, a material rich in cultural significance, and a key medium in contemporary design. Curated and designed by 2050+, the exhibition draws inspiration from the House’s pioneering use of bamboo in the mid 1940s. Inspired by Guccio Gucci’s son’s passion for bamboo walking sticks, artisans began crafting handbags with curved bamboo handles. Revitalization of Tsui Ping River is a one-kilometer-long urban design project, transforming a drab and musty Kwun Tong nullah into an ecologically sustainable Tsui Ping River in Hong Kong. Set within a large hall designed for people and activities, SAMA Pavilion acts as a central gathering space that accommodates a wide range of uses. Designed by Bangkok-based architecture studio pbm, the pavilion began with the idea of viewing landscape through an architectural lens. Can concrete appear as thin as paper and defy gravity?A cantilevered, ultra-thin concrete roof challenges gravity—not as an artificially generated image that ignores physical laws, but as a real built structure in an ordinary garden. With this 53-square-meter garden pavilion, FACE and DUCON bring ultra-high-performance concrete from the lab into practice, allowing it to float delicately. As part of an ongoing project, this pavilion serves as a wine-tasting venue adjacent to the vineyards and as a pool house for a private residence. In 2017, the estate was completely destroyed by the Tubbs fire, leaving only the pool and vineyards intact. Perched on the eastern ridge of Glen Ellen, it offers breathtaking views of Sonoma Valley and portions of Napa Valley. Strategically positioned just off the ridge, the main house and pool area are sheltered from the elements.  In the district of Guajuvira, 35 km away from the city of Curitiba, Brazil, the countryside landscape sustained by small agribusiness families is constantly interspersed with remnants of native Atlantic Forest vegetation. Often protecting water sources and small streams that flow into the Iguaçu river basin, these forest clusters are home to protected species, such as the Araucaria - the tree that gives the town its name.
