The SJD-PCCB is a monographic centre dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and research of pediatric cancer, the first reference in Spain and second in Europe. The project arises from the strategic need to create a monographic center for pediatric cancer care by Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona. The proximity and the need to establish synergies between the both centres posed an improvement in the diagnosis, treatment and research of pediatric cancer. The PCCB is located between Barcelona and Esplugues de Llobregat, closer to Collserola, the natural park that delimits the city on the west. Ministry of Health of UAE decided to expand Al Qassimi Hospital, in addition to 200 beds for maternity, gynecology and pediatrics as self-contained hospital for all kinds of services and facilities. It was also decided to extend the Emergency department of the existing hospital to respond to the additional needs for better emergency services. Flooring material 50,000 m2 Marmoleum Real, Dual, Vivace , Fresco In this project 4 colours out of the Global linoleum collection were combined. Real and Dual tiles: with its classic marbled structure. Vivace: a colourful and lively design that hides dirt and adapts well to a multitude of interiors. Fresco: A subtle marbled structure that is based on the Fresco artwork of ancient times.
