 The redesign of Pjazza tal-Belt Vittoriosa exemplifies sustainable, heritage-led urban regeneration, aligning layered memory with contemporary civic needs. The once vehicle-dominated square is reclaimed as a pedestrian-priority public realm, improving universal accessibility, environmental comfort and everyday social interaction.
