Azul del Carmen
Azul del Carmen is a Project that responds to how the world of hospitality has evolved. Every day, Airbnb offer grows worldwide. In a highly touristic destiny such as Playa del Carmen, this offer grows quickly. The building is set on a small 245sqm lot, which obliged to a vertical development, which has 4 units, each one with 110sqm. On top, a roof garden with a bar, lounge and infinity pool for all guests.

Exploring possible layouts, the vertical circulation was designed on the front façade. With this condition, we decided to play with light, color and the volume’s monumentality, which was materialized with a blue lattice that connects us with the Caribbean Sea tones.

OCEANA
OCEANA, is a mixed use and multi-family project, located at the corner of 28th Street and Cozumel Street, a few meters from the sea. The apartment complex seeks through a central courtyard to optimize its current views thanks to its large terraces, generating a unique experience in relation to the natural environment around it. Vaiven del Mar
Vaiven del Mar is located on the Riviera Maya, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. The project is inside Playa Car, an exclusive resort complex. Vaiven is a horizontal development of 82 apartment units in a rectangular site of 7974.41 m2.The lot was densely covered with large trees that hindered the decision of how to intervene the site.After a careful selection of the trees the conclusion was to create a central courtyard with the intention of preserving the local flora transplanting the rest of the trees that were located in the perimeter of the apartment buildings. Cacao Hotel Boutique / Live Aqua Resort
Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, a 3,200m2 plot of land neighbors the busiest and most important touristic avenue in the city known as the 5th Avenue, a 5 km long pedestrian-oriented street filled with vitality and 24 hour activities. Existing since the early 1980’s flea market type stalls and local restaurants, bars and stores have grasped both international and national attention. Because of the intensity and vibrancy of the area, the client’s request was to maintain the synergy and a relationship with the street without losing the tranquility and privacy of the hotel guests.
