Second High

The Second High by Pretty Plastic is a square façade tile made from 100% recycled rigid PVC sourced from discarded building materials such as window frames, gutters and pipes. Measuring 30 × 30 cm, the tiles are installed with open joints to create a distinctive grid across the façade. The square format and range of colours and shades give architects freedom to create anything from calm, uniform surfaces to expressive colour compositions. THE TONGELREEP: INNOVATION IN CIRCULAR ARCHITECTURE For the renovation of the Tongelreep, a national swimming centre and an iconic building in Eindhoven, the choice fell on Pretty Plastic due to its sustainability, aesthetic versatility, and local character of the product. Slangen+Koenis Architects, responsible for the design, believed in the potential of Pretty Plastic from the outset.
