The site for the Zaferanieh Residential Building is located to the North of the city of Tehran. It is situated amongst the green orchards of the Alburz mountains, at one of the highest urban altitudes and with a comprehensive view to the city. The primary design tenet is that the project reflect a level of luxury representative of the affluent residents as well as the high property value. The design objective was to create an integrative relationship between structure and context, and to optimize the site’s particular assets, including expansive views and green spaces. Home spas are a rare yet luxurious interior design commodity, and it can be pretty challenging to design one successfully. However, the CAS team neatly and efficiently managed to design a relaxing home spa in an unused villa basement in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan. Initially, there was nothing but a swimming pool to work with, but the CAS team masterfully worked around the existing physical constraints to create a clean, modern look that is the epitome of elegance and sophistication.
