Snider House
Snider House, an 1828 heritage property and North Toronto’s oldest surviving structure, was originally constructed as a brick Regency Cottage farmhouse at the heart of sprawling pastures and orchards. Over the next 180 years, the surrounding land was redeveloped and the home was expanded and modified – changes that saw its porch lost and the interior subdivided to serve a variety of occupants. In 1979, the property was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act for architectural and historical reasons. Our client, Jody Cash, a glass manufacturer, asked us to thoughtfully honour the building’s heritage while also reviving it as a functional home for his young family. The primary design goals were to create an expansive, convivial kitchen space and to transform the bathroom into a spa-like retreat. The kitchen area delineates the entryway, which subsequently opens into the living area. This living space is bathed in natural light from the French doors that lead to a spacious terrace, also accessible from the bedroom.

S House
Nestled on the sloping topography of Kekliktepe, Urla, S House is a luxury residence that was presented to Ofisvesaire with the building envelope and foundational systems already constructed. In an effort to maximize the potentials that were observed in the initial scenario of the existing conditions of the main house, the structural system was revised, providing the opportunity to rework the overall plan and mass of the house. บางอย่างไม่ต้องมีเหตุผลว่าทำไมต้องมี ทำไมต้องสร้าง มันจำเป็นที่สุดหรือเปล่า บางครั้งเราตอบไม่ได้จริงๆว่าทำไม
แต่เมื่อทุกอย่างสร้างเสร็จ ต้นไม้ใหญ่เติบโตขึ้น ได้ยินเสียงน้ำ ความเขียวขจี ความร่มรื่น ลูกค้า(เจ้าของบ้าน)จะสัมผัสมันได้เอง ถึงบรรยากาศ อารมรณ์ ความน่าอยู่ และอยากอยู่บ้าน
ในสภาพอากาศแบบนี้ โรคภัยที่มีใกล้ๆตัว กระแสเศรษฐกิจที่ไม่ค่อยจะดี รวมถึงสถานการณ์บ้านเมือง
สิ่งที่น่าอยู่ที่สุดในตอนนี้คือ "บ้านของเราเอง" บ้านที่เตรียมพร้อมไว้แล้ว

BasicHouse is a home built by Architect Korn and Interior Designer Nartrudee for Korn and Nartrudee themselves. After over 10 years of experience of specialising in designing private residences the founders of Brownhouses Company Limited, an Architecture and Interior Design firm, built a home for their expanding family.
In our definition and exploration of the work 'Basic' we looked for the fundamentals of beauty and function. We took the word basic for the beauty of elements as they are.
