A.01 seeks to establish a stronger dialogue between the interior and the urban exterior.Its elongated site and turbulent context define the building as a habitable sculpture at the city edge.Varied openings and volumetric shifts extend the movement of the site into the architectural form.Transparency and bulletproof glass shape the commercial floors while responding to the display and security of the jewelry store.A double-skin facade combines brick, stone, and glass to explore heaviness, lightness, and visual suspension.Ultimately, the contrast between commercial and residential zones creates a fluid relationship between ground, city, and interior space. E.01 is located on Eram Pedestrian Street within the historic urban context of Qom.The design began with an analysis of the street facade, skyline, and visual disorder caused by uncontrolled signage and construction.A double-skin facade was developed to introduce visual order while minimizing disruption to the existing context.White brick, turquoise tiles, and glass bricks form a precise square-based grid across the two skins.Its warp-and-weft structure recalls the traditional Iranian carpet and connects contemporary architecture with cultural memory.Through a contextual approach, the project seeks to reinforce the sense of place while creating a contemporary urban identity. E.02 addresses the balance between natural light, visibility, and privacy.Its central idea transforms the frame from a window element into an inhabitable in-between space.This intermediate zone takes the form of terraces connecting each apartment to daylight and exterior views.Perforated windows and varied frame compositions control visibility while creating changing patterns of light and shadow.The interior organization separates public and private zones while maximizing daylight penetration.Ultimately, frames, materials, and light interact to generate different scenarios of spatial experience and everyday life.
