RAMSA completes Georgetown University's McCourt School of Policy, featuring unique installations by Maya Lin
Located on Georgetown University's downtown Capital Campus, the McCourt School of Policy by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) brings a new academic hub for Washington, D.C.'s policymaking community. Additionally, a series of original site-specific installations by architect, designer, artist, and sculptor Maya Lin encourage building users to consider their natural surroundings.

The 150,000-square-foot building houses extensive educational and community spaces, including 20 classrooms, an expansive central commons, academic offices, a 400-seat auditorium, and a vast rooftop terrace with views of the U.S. Capitol.

Schwarzman Center
Yale’s Schwarzman Center transforms Carrère & Hastings’ historic Commons and three floors of the adjoining Memorial Hall—components of their 1901 Bicentennial Buildings—into a social hub for the university’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Capitalizing on its location at the geographic center of campus, the Schwarzman Center is dedicated to both cultural programming and student life, outfitted with state-of-the-art technology that enables virtual engagement with the Yale community away from campus, as well as with the broader public.

RAMSA completes a sensitive modernization and expansion of a historic Charlotte Courthouse
In Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) has completed a sensitive modernization and addition to the historic Charles R. Jonas Federal Building & Courthouse. The new 8-storey wing, which contains new courtrooms, chambers, and support spaces, rises behind the existing century-old Courthouse and serves as an inspiring example of how significant and historic civic infrastructure can be modernized to maintain a distinct character and presence.
