The Meurthe et Moselle Departmental media library

The Meurthe et Moselle Departmental media library, heart of a network of small reading structures and proximity, is intended to accommodate reading professionals. More than a media library, its goal is to train and inform these different people, following the principle of lending and reading spaces. The departmental library of Laxou therefore positions itself as a departmental center for public reading, with a fully assumed educational role. The building is located in a sparsely populated urban area which has been developing slowly since the 1970s, consisting of individual houses (in the middle of the plot) and buildings such as the Prouvé College on the neighboring plot. Renovation of an old farm into private and guest h

The project was born from the owners’ desire to accommodate people who are eager to discover their green and history-charged territory. It is located on a large plot of land, in a valley that once formed the Maginot Aquatic Line (a defensive system that allowed the valley to be flooded in order to block enemies). It is inhabited by many animal species, including birds. The farm house is typical of the Lorraine region with its usoir (area in front of t... More

Onde (waves)

The apartment is located in the center of Rome, inside a very rational real estate complex, interesting from an architectural point of view, but incredibly squared and with large orthogonal spaces. The project was born for a young woman, so the main intention was to orientate the study of the interior design to restore a softness, an irrationality of the environments, in line with a female identity, and at the same time in strong contradiction with the external context. The design work focuses on shapes and volumes emphasized with light colors that reflect the nuances of the seascapes. The result is a very welcoming home, with original and sinuous suggestions involving continuous different points of view and overlapping free lines in moveme... More

Conversion and new building of a residential house complex The aim of the project was to provide high quality living spaces that would emphasize communication among tenants and provide a variety of floor plans, which encourage and facilitate different generations of people living there. As regards urban development, the new L-Form building and the existing building create a courtyard, which offers free spaces and greenery and blends common spaces inside the protected yard with the surrounding landscape. The nearly fully glazed façade is new and faces the courtyard which is interlaced with the outdoor spaces including loggias, balconies and roof terraces.Screens - primarily used as sun-protection - serve as an interplay of open and cl...
