Brooklyn Bridge Park Pop-Up Pool
Spacesmith in collaboration with Davis Brody Bond were enlisted by the Brooklyn Bridge Park for the design of their Pop-up Pool. Rising off of the greenway on the uplands of Pier 2 at the Park, the 30’ x 50’ pool is accompanied by a 2,500 sf sandy beach area supplied with lounge chairs and colorful umbrellas. An adjacent concrete plaza contains picnic tables, more umbrellas and a food and drink concession stand. Amenities such as showers, restrooms and lockers are also provided.

The Lee Towers
The three well known Europoint towers at the Marconi square in Rotterdam are designed in the early 1970s by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). The towers are 95 metere high and are have been designed for use as offices. Supporting concrete columns in the façade and a central core that contains the elevators, stairwell, toilets and technical spaces. The free floor parts of 33 x 47 m are a guarantee for the best layout for each type of office. The façades feature a light-coloured travertine grid with square windows. All windows have been fitted with dark-tinted reflective panes set in bronze-coloured frames made of anodised aluminium. Domus Dela
The history of the Mariënhage monastery dates back to the founding of Eindhoven in the eleventh century. The construction of Ten Hage castle laid the first foundations for the Mariënhage monastery, which would be built at a later date. In 1419, Jan van Schoonvorst, the lord of Eindhoven, donated the castle to five pious citizens who established the monastery here. Since then, the monastery has experienced turbulent times. It has been destroyed, burned, rebuilt, and the complex has served many different functions. In 2017, the last Augustinians moved out of the complex and Mariënhage was purchased by the funeral and insurance company Dela, with the aim of establishing a ceremony venue named ‘DomusDela'. Building 18: Anthropologie Brand Office
The adaptive reuse of Building 18 in Philadelphia’s historic Navy Yard is the latest addition to the award-winning, multi-phased corporate campus MSR has designed for Urban Outfitters. Built in 1904, it is the largest single-story building for an individual brand on the campus. The new office space features, layout, and aesthetic provide an atmosphere where creativity can flourish. Work areas for individual departments feature integrated storage units, posting areas, and slat walls surrounding the group tables to improve team performance. Contiguous skylights throughout the building draw an abundance of daylight into the workspaces. The design also includes a large courtyard with gardens, pathways, and an outdoor patio.
