Graphic Facade and Thermal Barrier The Ecole Polytechnique extension adds two research buildings (biology and mechanical physics) to the buildings designed in 1967 by Henri Pottier. To intervene on the work of his predecessor, Michel Rémon did not stop at its functionalities. On the west side, he added a new front to the existing building. The new face of the school looks toward the town. This noble, urban, and even spectacular façade measures up to the spacious green area around it and is in harmony with the scale of the new neighborhood which is its home. DGUT Intl Cooperation Zone

Caption 10 Design (part of Egis Group), in collaboration with local architect BIAD, has won an international competition to design a new campus for the International Co-operation Innovation Zone (phase 1) at Dongguan University of Technology in China.   Situated in an ecological belt of the Songshan Lake district, the new campus sprawls over a wider site area of 137,273 sqm. Phase 1 of which will provide large shared facilities, residential areas and flexible laboratory spaces to create a world class research destination. Williams International

A world leader in the development and manufacturing of small gas turbine engines, Williams International had outgrown its former facility. It would take a unique property to accommodate WI’s over 600 employees and have room for its turbine engine R&D development and advanced manufacturing. Strangely enough, it was in an empty movie studio in where WI would find its new home. The former sound stages were converted into approximately 50,000 sf of advanced manufacturing cells for turbine engines, and the 200,000 sf office space, spread across three floors, was modernized to include premium amenities for WI’s employees, including a rec. room, fitness center, corporate store, and cafeteria as well as coffee nooks and kitchenettes on each flo... Ford Research and Innovation Center
