Zaha Hadid Architects completes new global headquarters for Infinitus China
Located on the site of a decommissioned airport, Infinitus Plaza is an office complex that includes herbal medicine research facilities, safety assessment labs and a learning centre for conferences and exhibitions.

Zaha Hadid Architects arranged the eight storeys building around central atria and courtyards. A nod to the symbol for infinity “∞”. The anchoring voids, together with a variety of shared indoor and outdoor spaces, aim to build a strong sense of community by visually connecting the different floors together.

Pengcheng Laboratory Park Phase 1
International architecture practice 10 Design has been appointed to realise the design vision of the Shenzhen Government for phase one of the city’s forthcoming flagship scientific research facility, the Shenzhen Pengcheng laboratory. The practice won the project following a national public tender process held by the Shenzhen Government and Pengcheng Laboratory.

Maersk Tower extension of the Panum Complex, Unive
The extension of the Panum complex has been designed with the aim of creating the best possible environment for modern research and teaching. A parallel objective has been to create a building which will stand out as an identity-creating, sculptural linchpin for the entire Panum complex and the university's Nørre Campus (i.e. the North Campus) as a whole. The new complex is also intended to act as the generator of a positive urban development in its immediate neighbourhood and in relation to the entire city.

In the eternal ice of Antarctica where whales and penguins are at home and the temperatures in summer barely reach one degree over zero, an extraordinary launch was celebrated in February: The German polar research facility Neumayer-Station III of the Alfred-Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) in Bremerhaven could begin its work after almost ten years of planning and a 12-month construction phase. So that the research team, even under the most extreme conditions, do not have to forgo the sanitary comfort that they are used to in Germany the washbasins and showers in the research station have been fitted with GROHE products.
