Park Residence is a residential building located in the heart of Sofia, between the vibrant city center and the serene expanse of Holy Trinity Park. This prime location brought a unique set of challenges for the architectural team: designing a building that is both visually engaging and functionally efficient, integrating the building into the urban environment, and fostering a harmonious connection with the park. "Il Parco dei Gelsi" is a residential complex funded by private investors that was born from the desire (which we share with the clients) to create a housing area with a low environmental impact. The project involves the redevelopment of an entire urban block of social housing built in the 1950s. The degradation was irrecoverable, so it was decided to completely demolish it. It consisted of three four-story buildings oriented on the heliocentric axis and placed about 12 meters apart from each other. There was no urban design, only compliance with building hygiene requirements. In 2023 Brusnika launched its first construction project in Moscow - the Metronome Quarter. The brief for the pilot development was to design a diverse multifunctional urban space merging with a natural environment. Here’s the project in focus. Located in the Eastern Moscow administrative district, the Metronome quarter lies between Tagilskaya Street and the 1st Irtyshsky Drive. The plot belongs to Medgorodok, the largest Moscow district measuring 2757 hectares, dominated by the national park Losiny Ostrov (Elk Island). The first stone buildings sprung here following the launch of the Belt Railway in 1908. Located on the outskirts of Bragança Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo State, is the land destined for a project of a multifamily residential complex at an affordable cost. The swimming pool Brigitte Becue is the new sports and recreational attraction in Oostende. By combining a large public swimming pool and 22 apartments in one building, the building blends perfectly into the existing urban context. At the same time, the building fits in with the green surroundings of the neighbouring golf course and the coastal strip. The apartments, housed in two separate volumes on top of the aquatic centre, contribute to the recognizability of the complex. Hugging one of the Ob river banks, the European Riverfront is a large-scale comprehensive area development project in Novosibirsk. It aims to restore the once-lost urban connection with the river and create an attractive cityscape from the river vantage point. The idea saw its realisation in 2016 in the KCAP Architects masterplan, further developed by Brusnika. Another approach that's been taken into account is making the most of the plot – being on a slope, it favors views and sunlight. The site is based in Vilnius city, Naujininkai district, Brolių st. (en. Brothers). Due to its history and geographical location, the district features a significant concentration of social and economic issues such as poverty, lack of youth employment, and social exclusion among families and individuals.
