Palau Coral Club Resort

Palau Coral Club Resort is a 2 ha ocean facing former quarry and naval dock that is being sensitively repurposed to create a luxury resort comprising 200 hotel keys and luxury eco-villas. The design is inspired by the archipelago of the outlying island rock formations, the local Palau indigenous culture and the stratification of the quarry to create an integrated sustainable design solution that balances the man-made with the natural. Al Barza Resort, Oman

The Al Barza Resort in Oman has been entrusted to the MARZ Design Office by Sheikh Salim. This project is located near Muscat, on land that is away from the urban environment, set within the desert nature of Oman and characterized by diverse topographical elevations. The pattern of the topographic surface of the project site has been shaped by erosion, resulting in the formation of slopes around and within the central area, where a tributary from Wadi Alkhoud passes. A flat area has developed in the project’s central part, resembling tongues extending in all four directions between the slopes of the hills. Magma Resort & Spa

The hotel complex is located between man-made and natural surroundings. Placed in a mild terrain near the village of Vourvoulos in Santorini, it is surrounded by traditional ’pezoules’, large areas of cultivated land that follow the altitudes and are formed with stone walls. The design approach attempts to create a built form that is created from the interplay between contradictory - complementary elements that reference the particular setting and the wider location. Organic shapes from black volcanic stones follow the curved contour lines creating a landscape that reflects the shape of the terrain. Chabahar Resort Project is a residential-recreational project in Ramin region of Chabahar. The project’s site is located between the main road of Chabahar-Baris and the Oman Sea. The cultural, social, historical, climatic and geographical characteristics of the context, as well as the project’s program, created a number of questions that were attempted to be answered with a proper stance.
