Luneurs bon enfant is located in Jing’an MIXC World. The project explores the theme of “retro futurism”, ignited by a series of retro-futuristic illustrations by a French Chocolate Factory in the 50’s and 60’s. hcreates interior design Retro futurism itself is a sort of contradiction; visions of the future from a time gone by, allowing us to play with the past era in a contemporary way. Evident in the French illustrations was the use of color, curves, movement, and form, and the general graphic, energetic style. It enjoys the highest footfalls in the city of 12-14,000 on weekdays and averaging to 25,000 over weekends. It is originally a chain restaurant that features French cuisine adapted to the Arabic culture – which is where the concept of the interior design was actually derived. The entire dining space has been designed in a fusion of traditional and contemporary design that emulates a fresh vibe. Top two floors of one of the oldest Zagreb skyscrapers were transformed into an elegant office space reminiscing the spirit of the 50’s decade of the last century. Skyscraper has a symbolic meaning in the history of the city. At the time of its erection from 1957 to 1959, it was the highest and most elegant office building, not only in the city of Zagreb, but of the former state, too. However it was the first tall building with an aluminium facade 16 stories high, with height 70 meters above the ground. It is the contextual history of the skyscraper that was a breath of inspiration for the reconstruction. Casa Victoria Sweets Shop is both sweet in taste and, for the design enthusiasts, it’s the new local piece of eye candy. Using a relaxing pastel color palette combined with various fine tuned wood essences, the architects have created a special atmosphere in this small but delightful shop. The overall design relies on a combination of patterns, both floral and geometric, harmonized by an elegant placement of color and light.
