Casa Quetzal
Located in São Francisco Xavier, a district of São José dos Campos, Casa Quetzal is set within the landscape of the Serra da Mantiqueira, surrounded by Atlantic Forest and the characteristics of the region’s rural architecture. Designed by Sertão Arquitetos as a renovation of a 105 m² residence, the project completely reorganizes the interior spaces to meet the needs of its new inhabitants while preserving the language of the existing building and strengthening its relationship with the surrounding landscape.

White Breakers
White Breakers is a black clad, retrofitted, single storey property, located within a dark skies section of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, facing the Irish Sea. The refurbishment of the family home sought to radically improve the energy efficiency of the original house and prioritise a low carbon footprint throughout both construction and eventual habitation. The house was also carefully designed to be as stealthy as possible - and nature friendly, including the installation of a bat box and swift box to the ends of the building.

Echoed Hues is a compact retrofit and addition to a 35-year-old house, nestled within the dense urban fabric of Madurai—where bringing light and air inward is a challenge. Through gentle spatial gestures, tactile materials, and filtered daylight, the project transforms an aging home into a contemporary dwelling that remembers rather than replaces the past.
