When intervening in a space such as this apartment, one should not interfere with the existing architecture. More than to propose, it was necessary to omit, to refurbish and integrate. It was essential to intervene in this apartment in the most clean and silent manner to better respond to its new needs.
The building where this apartment is placed was originally designed as an Hotel Particulier. The apartment occupies the entire 1st floor, which was originally dedicated to the social areas – namely 11 parlours, one of which was used as a bathroom. As the social floor, almost all of the walls and ceilings of these rooms were decorated with rich mural paintings.

Een innovatief systeem welke het mogelijk maakt maakt om een compositie met een doorgang te creëren, met directe toegang tot de echte walk-in closet.

A design that explores all the possibilities offered by a lacquered glass door, characterised by the exclusive shades in the Rimadesio collection. A thin aluminium profile marks out the surround to a pure surface that is full of reflections and the strength of the colours. Link+ is also fitted with a magnetic closing system lock, an innovative patented Rimadesio product that ensures silence and reliability over time.
These newly designed handles are available for both swing and sliding doors. The principal aesthetic characteristic is total integration between the handle block and the glass panel that form a single uninterrupted surface. Link+ is also available in a slim version, characterised by ultra thin jamb finishing pieces. More
