Metropolitan station in Lublin designed as one of the most sustainable projects of its kind in Poland
Warsaw-based architecture studio Tremend has completed Dworzec Lublin, a new metropolitan station in Lublin, Poland, with distinctive openwork pillars holding aloft a decorative canopy roof. The station is at the core of the multidimensional Integrated Transportation Center infrastructure project in Lublin, the capital city of Lublin Voivodeship (a province in south-eastern Poland). A main transport hub in the center of the city, it is designed to be one of the most sustainable projects of its kind in the country.

Powerhouse Company complete a soaring canopy for the Paper Roof Reception Centre
Powerhouse Company are known for their sensory rich approach to design, using conscious design choices to enhance the subconscious design experience. Their latest completed project is Paper Roof Reception Centre in Tianjin, China, which takes a fresh approach to tradition by playing with the form and function of traditional Chinese architecture.

MAD nestles Yabuli Congress Center in snowy mountainous terrain covered by a rippling curved roof
MAD aims to blend the congress center into its mountainous surroundings by echoing the snow-capped hills into the rippling silver-white roof shell. The tent-like structure reaches a maximum height of 24 meters.

The Congress Center is initiated by the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum. The platform that includes well-known entrepreneurs such as Jack Ma (Alibaba), Robin Li (Baidu), Yang Yuanqing (Lenovo) and Lei Jun (Xiaomi) gather in Yabuli every winter for a summit referred to as “The Davos of China”.
