Fratina
Fratina is inspired by those classic chairs with rush seats. In Emilio Nanni's reinterpretation, the designer exaggerates its lines, the legs have a round section and the backrest, attached to the rear legs, is generous to the point of becoming a semicircle in the armchair version. The seat is available in fabric, leather, leather straps or woven cellulose cord, which simulates the ancient processing of rush wickerwork. The correspondence between form and function is one of the axioms on which Emilio Nanni's research is based and in this sense Load is just the ticket, a chair reduced to minimums. And from this very essentiality is developed typological and aesthetic creativity. The result is a collection that, in addition to the side chairs, includes arm and lounge chairs as well as barstools - also in the variants with the upper back in nautical rope, craftsmanship inspired by the Billiani territory which, on the border between the hills and the plains, lies not very far from the sea.
