Water Farm
Water farm is a modern off-grid family home by Studio Bark for London leavers moving back to the family farm. The Paragraph 84 house was designed to nurture the needs of a young family of five, with strong historic ties to the site and off-grid living. The result is a unique and functional five bedroom off-grid home. The home is on the edge of Dedham Vale National Landscape, and has been designed with sensitivity to local character. Many of the key design features were informed by traditional farmsteads and traditional timber frame buildings. Sun Shelter / Refúgio do Sol
Son of Iemanjá, Father of Saint, Son of Candomblé... it could be a story about religion of African origin, as well as the elements coming from terreiros (houses and community complexes) to give rise to a shelter. Refúgio do Sol, as the name suggests: a small cozy shelter that protects users from the scorching sun in the heart of the Brazilian hinterland.

The drums gave space for the body movements of piling and throwing the earth: the rammed earth and the wattle and daub, respectively. Stringed instruments gave way to sewing thread to fix the plastic mesh, the skeleton of the reinforced mortar that makes up the hydraulic block.
