Sculptural Chair

A sculptural chair designed to bring an architectural presence to the interior. The chair combines a strong, monolithic silhouette with softly rounded edges and an intentionally tactile, imperfect surface. Its organic form gives it the presence of a sculptural object while remaining a functional and comfortable seat. The chair is made using NEDEVDESIGN’s in-house concrete composite, developed as a lightweight alternative to solid concrete. A lightweight foam core is encased in a thin, strong, fibre-reinforced concrete shell, made primarily from cement and natural sand.
