For architects and designers, commercial projects are a little bit like public art. They can be enjoyed by all; however, they also pose a number of design challenges that simply do not need to be considered for a residential project. There has been something of an industrial design Renaissance happening in the rust belt and across the nation. Recently, we discovered an old Buggy Works factory in Ohio that has been re-purposed and remodeled into modern condominiums.
