House with Reflective Furniture
n the Nomentano district, just a short walk from Villa Torlonia, Set Architects has completed the renovation of an apartment within an early 20th-century building, reinterpreting its traditional layout through a contemporary lens.
The project is designed for a young family and engages with a layout typical of the period: a sequence of independent rooms, with ceilings approximately four meters high and openings in load-bearing walls that defined a strongly rigid distribution. The client’s brief called for larger, more fluid spaces capable of adapting over time to different domestic needs, an ambition clearly at odds with the existing plan.

The project involves the architectural and functional completion of an existing building located in a rural area of Fondi (LT), where, at the time of commissioning, the structure and laminated wood roof had already been built.

Casa Platform Roma
Located in the heart of Rome, inside the 15th-century Palazzo Taverna building, the Casa Platform Roma project is a multifunctional and versatile space to host events and workplaces for the architecture magazine Platform. The space of about 100 sqm has the characteristic feature of having a great internal height of about 7 metres with the central hall distinguished by a vaulted ceiling while the secondary spaces have a wooden beam ceiling.

Art and Music high school in Aosta, Italy
The project for the new LICAM is based on the idea of a measured building, with simple volumes and characterized by a facade that plays on the rhythm and proportions of architectural elements. In particular, the facade design is based on different sizes of vertical and horizontal trapezoidal elements that define a frame that shows the structural nature of the building.
