The Frames

The Frames is a bespoke development tailored to small and creative businesses in Shoreditch. The five-storey building creates 80,000 sq. ft. of flexible workspace for London’s new and growing companies, providing office and studio units to suit a variety of users, along with shared meeting rooms, break-out areas, tea points, cycle storage, shower facilities and a café. Caption Influenced by the characteristic warehouse vernacular of the surrounding South Shoreditch Conservation Area, the building envelope employs a palette of brick, metal and glass. Nobu Hotel Shoreditch

Ben Adams Architects (BAA) have recently completed Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, the most recent addition to their renowned international collection of hideaway retreats. This captivating luxury hotel offers a fine dining experience and stay in the heart of East London.The design marries the creative energy of the location with Nobu’s values of simple luxury with a façade that fragments at the eastern end and descends into a new pocket park, overlooked by the warehouses of Great Eastern Street to the north.Concrete panels were used on the façade in order to relate to the strong timber elements inside the building and bronze portal frames define both the hotel and restaurant entrance. MullenLowe Group

Studio Octopi were appointed in June 2015 following an invited design competition. In December 2015 the team completed the 4,300 sqm CAT B fit-out for immediate occupation. Five floors of the C-Space building now comprise all the MullenLowe Group agencies including advertising agency MullenLowe London, activation agency MullenLowe Open, digital agency MullenLowe Profero and the Group’s global headquarters. After a consultation with the staff, Studio Octopi presented an overarching concept that integrated the three agencies as the ‘City of MullenLowe’ with the unifying motto ‘non mihi, non libi, sec nobis’ or ‘not for you, not for me, but for us.’ The consultation highlighted a desire for each agency to maintain a level of individuality...
