Light House
DESCRIPTION
The Light house is a project that resonated with our ideals of tropical architecture in Singapore. With the warm local tropical climate, we believe homes could be made more comfortable and liveable if we could maximise natural light and ventilation into the house. The east-west orientation of this house makes it more critical for good ventilation to prevail.

As a reconstruction project, the other challenge was to re-evaluate the internal spaces to cater for the family of four, while retaining the existing structural elements.

House of a Thousand Leaves
On a long and narrow plot fronting a road junction, a semi-detached house of three and a half storey stands as a slim, monolithic mass. With minimal external views, the design aims to provide the avid gardening homeowners and their newlywed children with a climate-conscious and a unique inward-looking home. In crafting a multi-generational home, the design strives to avoid the formation of wholly segregated private zones. Instead, it aims to create a shared space where chance encounters and a sense of connectedness can flourish.

Stack House
“Stacking habitable spaces in a semi-detached dwelling in Singapore”
DESCRIPTION
Shaping Stack House was an ambitious endeavour to fit four levels of living space into the typical two storey envelope control typology in Singapore. Designed to be a house for generations, the occupants were a young couple with a daughter. The owner’s desire to create an iconic modern home suited to the tropical climate presented challenges as well as opportunities for us.

Atrium House
DESCRIPTION
Atrium house was a response to our Client’s brief for a house of modern simplicity and good space. The architectural design of the house was based on the desire to celebrate spaciousness and create meaningful spatial relationships. The central atrium became the anchor for the house, connecting it with all the living spaces from the first to the highest level. The idea of a punctuation echoed to the façade with a patterned perforation that allowed greenery to climb and peek into the interiors of the house.

FACI ASIA PACIFIC OFFICEProject Description Faci’s Asia Pacific Office was a decision by the founders to erect a stand-alone building on an existing industrial site. With a desire to grow their team, the motive was to create a commercial environment for their own usage. The building had to be emblematic of their business and strategy, with a strong underlying desire to promote their sustainable corporate image.
