Kardüz Ski Resort is a ski resort project planned to be established on an area of 180 hectares on the Kardüz plateau, which attracts attention with its 1830-meter altitude in Gölyaka district of Düzce province. Located on the Elmacık Mountains, Kardüz is the highest point of Düzce in the border region with Bolu. At the same time, the land has a panoramic view of Düzce and offers a magnificent view in four seasons of the year. The lookout tower is a result of several years of collaboration with the local ski resort Kraličák. It is situated at the highest point between Hynčice and Stříbrnice on the hilltop Štvanice 866 m.a.s.l. The supposed center of the resort, on the hill in the forest amongst ski slopes. Around it is a beautiful dramatic vast landscape. The old town, a view of the entire Jeseníky mountains, on the other side, the heavily wooded hillside of Králický Sněžník where the Morava river springs from.The assignment has been fulfilled, a year-round accessible, 35 meter tall lookout tower, situated at the top station of the chair lift – the center of the resort.The tower stands here as a confident slim round obelisk. La Croisette – that’s the name of the promenade along the Côte d’Azur in Cannes along which the rich and the beautiful stroll in the Mediterranean sun. But La Croisette is also the name of the main square in the town of Les Ménuires in the French Alps. A square where during the winter, young and old alike stroll by, rewarding themselves after a day on the ski slopes, buying new ski equipment, or just meeting up. For the ski area that encompasses a total of three locations, the lighting designers from Lea – Les Éclairagistes Associés drew up a Plan Lumière.
