Community Library of Li Village River Park
Situated on the southern bank of the Li Village River in Qingdao, a coastal city in northeastern China, the community library is a compact complex designed with simple geometric volumes. It houses various facilities, including a reading room, reception hall, observation tower, and public restrooms, while also featuring a circulation system that links different levels of the park. The design draws inspiration from the "folie" concept of Parc de la Villette, a modern approach to creating small landscape structures that allows for greater flexibility in form.

microtel
Microtel is an effort to create a flexible build that allows the user to present their different reading from the space. The spatial organization of the project is based on the dual "visible" and "hidden" and the definition of different uses of the space in this dual is looking for an economic solution to reduce expenses and speed up the process of implementation. At the same time, the project tries to minimize its borders with the city (only one glass facade) and inform it’s user free of uproars, advertise and turbulence the urban walls.
The project has a quiet presence on the urban wall and presents itself to the city only with a brief sign that extends from the roof to cover the installation parts.

New build-to-rent house, with pink textured render and green terrazzo details, containing generous vertical spaces on a constrained corner site in Newham.Bookending a mid-century terrace in Plaistow this three bed, three bath house makes effective use of a tight corner plot. Office S&M designed Salmen House to be built and let by professional landlord My Property & Home, who had purchased an end of terrace garden suitable for a two-storey infill house.
