Social housing apartments in Viladecans
The site is unfortunately placed under the effect of three completely different urban plans. This means that the plot has conflicting parameters and it needs to be reevaluated in order to solve these conflicts. Therefore the project starts with a specific modification of the urban plan to adjust the urban parameters, the building's density and its uses.

On the 15th of September 2022, the Brette Haus showcased its brand new folding house in Europe. The “Rustic 20 XL” was installed in Hollenbek, Germany.What is it?
This is a 30 sq.m. tiny wooden house for hospitality accommodation. It was developed and manufactured in March 2021 in collaboration with cross-laminated timber manufacturer WIGO Group.

The key feature of this cabin is its compact transportation size. The folding feature allows optimizing delivery two times. Three modules are connected with hinges and fold inside each other. This project commenced just as the economy was beginning to recover from the recession. The aim was to come up with a residential development that was the different from the one widely used in the area and base on an obsolete partial development plan.
The old plan proposed blocks with a wide width and interior courtyards for ventilation, but where the orientation of the homes and the organisation of the free areas were not a priority. To amend the plan, a detailed study had to be drafted, setting out a different type of block, one that was ccompatible with the general plan in force and wich would help to create a new city model. 46 social dwellings in Mairena del Aljarafe
The project was built in an area of residential expansion in the outer suburb of Seville, in the south of Spain.The small size of the plot and the high housing density that was required suggested a court-type solution. The patio played a key role as an area for social interaction and made it possible to achieve the objective of giving the 46 apartments (2 or 3 bedrooms) two prospects – on the inner courtyard and on the street.Each apartment is divided by a central access with service facilities.
