Bobo sofa

Bobo, designed by Cini Boeri in 1967, is one of the first examples of a single-block bench, made exclusively of polyurethane foam, without an internal frame. Boborelax, created from Bobo, and together with it, makes up a curious and unusual family of essential furnishings, an example of pure design, without labels and adjectives. It was, at the time, completely revolutionary, not only for its use of new materials and the absence of a supporting frame, but also and above all for its total unhinging of the dominating taste and its introduction of design and furnishing to an “experimental”. KASHIMA - All-foam seating

In 2023 Ligne Roset is reissuing its emblematic Kashima model. It is the «comfortable Chesterfield». Kashima designed by Michel Ducaroy offers classic customers the “English” comfort. The generous shapes of this model enable to give a reassuring image to an all-foam seat. All-foam seating, Kashima hides, under its agreeable appearance, a soft comfort in rounded and curved lines (integrated armrests, lumbar, headrest). However, this comfort doesn’t jeopardise the quality of the high-density foams that compose it. Let’s remind that the density of a foam is the only guarantee of longevity. The denser the foam is, the longer the seat will last. The buttoning is then made using invisible tie rods, placed insid... More

Birrificio Milano

Craftsmanship, Culture and Design: these three keywords can be used to sum up the project of BIRRIFICIO MILANO, a new dynamic brewery in the local area. Looking to the future, it has chosen to invest in a product such as beer, which encourages social gatherings and is a free means of communication: a sip of culture to be enjoyed together. BIRRIFICIO MILANO stands in the setting of the well-known former Area Caproni Taliedo, a beautiful example of industrial archaeology in Milan. Caption Caption Renovation works on the industrial building, overseen by Art Director Francesco Rota, tried to preserve its historical heritage by using products with low environmental impact to create an attractive, functional and organised production si... COVER

The name COVER is just as evocative of the concept as it is of the function. Its comfort and sensuality mask brazen simplicity of use : the cover of COVER can be removed in a matter of seconds, making maintenance almost a pleasure. The cover is draped over the structure like a throw, seeming to hover over it. More

TARU

Through the Taru settee, the designer’s intention is to create a comfortable place to sit which shows off the craftsmanship and expertise of Ligne Roset. Taru is comfortable and welcoming, with its fully upholstered base giving it real character. The seat is also intertwined with its subtly curved backrest in a bi-material treatment. It is available as a large settee, medium settee and 1-arm settee (left or right). This model’s originality also springs from the vast potential for mixing materials (fabrics and leathers) and colours thanks to the superb rear section of the back, which may be customized as desired. This is a settee with two faces which is thus worth showing off as much for its front view as for its upholstered rear... More

PAIPAÏ

Païpaï is a project which unfolded from a simple gesture : folding a piece of paper to create a closed shape. And thus a visibly comfortable cocoon seat is born. The folds mark the foam, shaping its contours and giving emphasis to the armrests, thus creating the identity of the settee, which was named after the Pai-Pai fan which itself has a characteristic rounded shape. The Païpaï collection was designed to offer the best possible seat comfort thanks to the height of the back and the judicious use of high-performance foams. More

BONNIE

Ligne Roset was able to work on the reissue of the Bonnie seating using a real collector’s item, one of only a few very rare examples in existence (modèles 500 and 500/2 – design 1975). From the outset, the Bonnie seating was striking in terms of its comfort, both visual and real, hugging the lines of the human body fiercely. The Bonnie seating is at once extremely comfortable and also clever, without being too clever. More
