House Moss - Norway
This family in Moss wanted to carry out energy-saving measures in their house. They reinsulated the roof and walls. As a crowning achievement, they installed SunStyle solar roof tiles on both the house and garage. The garage roofs have an east/west orientation, which provides good electricity production in the morning and afternoon. Houses face north/south where the south-facing surface has active panels that provide plenty of electricity during the day. The facility provides good production throughout the day. Lapalala’s vision is to continue to protect and conserve it's biodiversity, uplift the neighbouring communities and create a responsible and sustainable model to secure Lapalala’s conservation status into the future.Lepogo. Lodges will consist of 3 separate lodges. Noka Camp will be the first to open in March 2019. Lepogo Lodge and Melote House will follow in September 2019. Each lodge sleeps 8.

Indonesian urban retreat makes the most of a small site
A serene escape from the chaos of the city, MONOHOUSE Chapter I by monostudio is located in the north west city of Surabaya, Indonesia. It is situated on a small site measuring 7m x 12 m with no buildings to the left or the right.
