We gutted the dated interior. We made the kitchen open-plan and created additional storage in a neat, recessed coffee station. We extended the main bedroom onto the front balcony and changed the bathroom layouts so the main en-suite has views and is open to the main bedroom. The emphasis is on the open plan living and main bedroom space. The second guest bedroom is smaller and less important. One of the more crucial designs was that of the ceiling and lighting.
