In this 120-meter-long and energy-optimized building in Liezen, transparency and translucence are in the foreground. The goal was to make a sustainable contribution to the urban development of this location, which was hit by many markets. A wide canopy creates a forecourt, an “oasis”. A public space on the edge of the city centre, a place of communication and encounter, as markets have always been. Inside, the oasis also offers rooms to linger.
