What is Invisio+?

Invisio+ is a thermally broken structural glazing fixing system developed by IQ Glass to support triple-glazed structural glass at architectural scale. Designed to accommodate deeper glass units and advanced glass configurations, the system enables large-format frameless glazing with the fixing profile fully concealed within the surrounding building finishes.

Hurricane Resistant GlassBy combining the appropriate glass specifications and glazing solutions with a combination of toughened and laminated glass panes, the majority of IQ’s glazing solutions may be specified as hurricane resistant glazing.
Impact-resistant glass is required for hurricane glazing so that, even in the event that fly debris breaks the glass, the broken pane will remain in place, acting as a safety barrier and preventing harm or damage.
Hurricane impact glass thickness varies based on additional parameters including whether the glass is bonded into a framing profile or if the glazing is frameless, like in a structural glass wall.

Situated on the historic site of the former Rossiya factory in St Petersburg, office building Ferrum 1 (Block 16) by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten is one of the first buildings in Russia to be constructed with a sculptural Corten steel façade. Corrosion-resistant and extremely durable, the characteristic rust-red patina and texture of the material give a striking and expressive appearance to the building. The name of the office building – Ferrum – is Latin for iron and references the material structuring the façade as well as the history of the former industrial history of the site.
